Sue
Stewart, Registered Nurse and Florida Licensed Acupuncture
Physician,has helped many people over her 32 years in the health
field.
She is Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture and holds a B.A. degree
in Nursing from the College
of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnestota.
She is a graduate of the Mandarin School of Chinese Medicine in
Jacksonville,
Florida and also served as a Board Member and later as an
instructor and Clinical Coordinator from 1998-2002, at the
school. She
has been in private practice since 1997. Sue has been a Schwarzbein
Referral Practitioner and completed
Level I training in November 2004 and
Level II training in April 2005 for GI Tract Issues in Santa Barbara, California
at the Schwarzbein
Institute with Dr. Schwarzbein.
Sue has served as both President and Vice President of the local North
East Florida
Acupuncture Alliance (NEFAA) and also a member of the American
Oriental Medicine Association (AOMA), member of (FSOMA)
Florida State
Oriental Medical Association and Fellow of the American Society of
Acupuncturists. Sue's basic practice
is Classical Five Element Theory
but she also includes an eclectic balance of styles learned from various
Masters seminars and books such
as Peter Holmes, Jeffrey Yuen,
Lonnie Jarrett, Richard Tan, and Kiiko Matsumoto.
She has expertise in
healthy nutrition, lifestyle changes, and
stress management including
the use of supplementation with vitamins, antioxidants, minerals, and amino
and fatty acids, if needed, from study with David Brady
DC with Designs
for Health, Robert
Crayhon MS with Crayhon Research, Dr. Sherry Rogers,
and Dr.
Diana Schwarzbein. Sue has a continuing study of Environmental
Illness and Functional Medicine.
